In the Materials Thematic Line, we are committed to a chemical approach to global efficiency and sustainability by cutting-edge research in catalysis, photocatalysis, and biocatalysis. The thematic line develops along with the design, synthesis, and fabrication of molecules, (macro- and supra-) molecular assemblies, or full functional materials for a wide range of chemical-based applications. The research is focused on optimizing the performance of the materials by exploring relationships between chemical composition and structure. We aim to develop advanced materials using different approaches, including state-of-the-art additive fabrication. We provide practical solutions for contemporary energy, sustainability, health, biology, and medical challenges.
