Objectives
We are facing new challenges with the spread of environmental pollutants. Water and air are highly sensitive, and alternatives to easily minimize contamination are required, aiming at an enhanced quality of life, which is a societal challenge and an expected impact of our activities. The main objective of the thematic research line is to develop tailor-made materials for treatment technologies (oxidation/separation, bioremediation), and solutions combining radiation, oxidants/catalysts and equipment design for water/wastewater and gas treatment.Major research topics
