The thematic line of Environment has a consolidate expertise in Monitoring and risk evaluation, Advanced water and gas treatments and wastes and endogenous resources valorization. Our future research is directed towards the study of environmental matrices and coastal areas; the design of cost-effective advanced technologies to improve the removal of chemical and biological contaminants from waters, wastewaters and gaseous streams; and new applications for natural materials.  Our aim is to actively contribute to a cleaner and emission free environment and a more sustainable and healthy society.
