ABERTURAS E COROS DE ÓPERA – SONS DA ‘LIBERDADE’

ALiCE, in collaboration with the 3 R&D units, CEFT, LEPABE and LSRE-LCM, are sponsors of the Researchers’ Concert: ABERTURAS E COROS DE ÓPERA
 
This concert will take place on November 20th, 2024, at FEUP’s auditorium (21:30 h) and is performed by the choir and orchestra of the Academia and City Opera (OAC). Access to the Auditorium is free.
 
" SONS DA LIBERDADE’" seeks to express the freedom and its various declensions, through orchestral and choral-orchestral pieces that span much of the 19th century, the century of people's freedom. A reality that manifested itself in the form of struggles for independence, in the form of struggles for the granting of rights and freedoms or in the form of struggles for national unification.
