ALiCE was granted 14 new projects in FCT 2022 call

ALiCE researchers have been granted 7 Exploratory Research Projects and 7 Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects in the last FCT call. That resulted in incoming funding of ca. 1.5 M€ for the next 3 years.
The call for R&D projects in all scientific domains is a mechanism of consolidation and reinforcement of the national science and technology system that aims to increase national and international competitiveness and to increase the contribution to innovation and knowledge transfer of the research units under the FCT umbrella. ALiCE’s approval rate was ca. 20%, higher than the global rate approval for this call (15%).
